Blackjack Strategy Trainer
Play a full free blackjack hand and get basic strategy feedback after every decision. Hit, stand, double, or split, then see what the chart says.
Decision Log
Rules used: multi-deck basic strategy, dealer stands on soft 17, no surrender. This is a free trainer only, not real-money blackjack.
Need help with a decision? See our Blackjack Basic Strategy Guide for the full chart and an explanation of how each play works.
How to Use the Blackjack Strategy Trainer
Start a new hand, check your cards and the dealer’s visible card, then choose Hit, Stand, Double, or Split.
The trainer compares your decision with the correct basic strategy play for the rules shown above. You’ll get instant feedback after each move, while the score panel tracks your total hands, correct decisions, and accuracy.
Use Show Best Move when you’re unsure, or continue playing without help to test how well you remember the chart.
What Does the Trainer Teach?
The trainer helps you practice the decisions that come up most often at a blackjack table:
- When to hit or stand with a hard total
- How to play soft hands containing an ace
- When doubling down is the stronger move
- Which pairs should be split
- How the dealer’s upcard changes the correct decision
Basic strategy doesn’t guarantee that you’ll win a hand. It gives you the mathematically preferred decision based on your cards, the dealer’s visible card, and the table rules.
Rules Used by This Trainer
This version uses multi-deck blackjack strategy with the dealer standing on soft 17. Surrender is not available.
Basic strategy can change slightly under different rules, particularly when the dealer hits soft 17, doubling is restricted, or surrender is offered. Check the table rules before using the same decision chart in a real game.

See our Blackjack Basic Strategy Guide for the full hard-hand, soft-hand, and pair-splitting charts.
The trainer is best used for repetition. Play a run of hands, note the decisions you get wrong, then return to the guide and review those parts of the chart.
Can Basic Strategy Guarantee a Win?
No. Blackjack still involves chance, and even the correct decision can result in a loss.
Basic strategy is designed to reduce avoidable mistakes. It tells you the strongest available play over the long term, rather than predicting what the next card will be.
This trainer is free to use and does not involve real-money gambling.
